10 Things You Must Do if you want to be smart
1. Saving up on friendship
Friendship is the warmest coat in your life. It’s built on personality and character. You must treasure it. If you haven’t got much, it’s still not too late to save up on your friendship with due care.
2. Learn to let go
Your age won’t allow you to be immature. When you are unable to control or master a certain love, fate or reality in your life, you have to learn to let go. Give yourself a brand new beginning. As long as you have confidence, courage will be there with you. As long as you endeavour, success will be with you.
3. Broadcast Kindness
You must do things according to your best ability and let those who are less fortunate than you feel the warmth and beauty of this world. This kindness is often broadcast and unintentionally brings forth the most beautiful blooming of humanity.
4. Understand Music
You must learn to play a musical instrument. It will cleanse your body and soul and open up your memory and imagination. It will also bring about the unexpected tranquillity in you. In addition photography and collection will also add flavours to our life.
5. Avoid Sufferings
There are two sufferings in life: one is the suffering when you are unable to obtain that something you truly desire, the other is the unrequited love. The former will let you gamble all you’ve got, provided you put in all the efforts, you won’t feel too bad either win or lose. As your age will still give you enough capital to let you start all over again. As for the latter, if you still have that kind of feelings at your age, you must get rid of it like dirt and sweep it out of your heart.
6. Learn to Cope
There are certain things which require you to forget quietly. You become wiser after such experience. There are some pains and troubles which require you to cope with silently. You become more rewarded after each suffering. At your age you should never cry and shout like a baby feeling that all was lost.
7. Feeling Grateful Often
When we finish attending a funeral, we always feel a sense of gratefulness. When we recover from a serious illness we always treasure everything a bit more. The gratefulness must be maintained from time to time. Not only it will allow you to treasure the things around you, it will also calm down your desires and struggles. This is often where the feeling of true happiness lies.
8. Love your work
Although it’s not as pleasant as taking tea or having a chat, it will test our wisdom and capability. It will allow us to realize our values and to gain success. You must love your work wholeheartedly. After all it allows us to have things to do and food to eat the majority of your life.
9. Good at Learning
Reading and studying is a way of talking with Wisdom. Every year you should try to read a minimum of 50 books. Not only it will keep your memory and comprehension going, it will also let you maintain your individual charisma. This is not something you can achieve through yoga or cosmetic surgery.
10. Enjoy sports
Be good at utilising your time to do sports and to enjoy mother nature. Your weight will fluctuate so much due to your laziness or inactivity. Your appearance will not lose its vividness due to the aging process. It will help you retain your youthfulness, joyfulness and fitness level.
The Path to Happiness
8 Steps Towards a More Satisfying Life
1. Count your Blessings
One way to do this is with a "gratitude journal" in which you write down three to five things for which you are thankful - from the mundane (your peonies are in bloom) to the magnificent (a child's first steps). Do this once a week, say, on Sunday night. Keep it fresh by vaying your entries as much as possible.
2. Practice Acts of Kindness
These should be both random (let that harried mom go ahead of you in the checkout line) and systematic (bring Sunday supper to a nelderly neighbour). Being kind to others, whether friends or strangers, triggers a cascade of positive effects - it makes you feel generous and capable, gives you a greater sense of connection with others and wins you smiles, approval and reciprocated kindness - all happiness boosters.
3. Savor Life's Joys
Pay close attention to momentary pleasures and wonders. Focus on the sweetness of a ripe strawberry or the warmth of the sun when you step out from the shade. Some psychologists suggest taking "mental photographs" of pleasurable moments to review in less happy times.
4. Thank a Mentor
If there is someone whom you owe a debt of gratitude for guiding you at one of life's crossroads, don't wait to express your appreciation - in detail and, if possible, in person.
5. Learn to Forgive
Let go of anger and resentment by writing a letter of forgiveness to a person who has hurt or wronged you. Inability to forgive is associated with persistent rumination or dwelling on revenge, while forgiving bolsters positive feelings about your past and gives you peace of mind.
6. Invest Time and Energy in Friends and Family
Where you live, how much money you make, your job title and even your health have surprisingly small effects on your satisfaction with life. The biggest factor appears to be strong personal relationships.
7. Take Care of Yoru Body
Getting plenty of sleep, exercising, stretching, smiling and laughing can all enhance your mood in the short term. Practiced regularly, they can help make your daily life more satisfying.
8. Develop Strategies for Coping with Stress and Hardships
There is no avoiding hard times. Religious faith has been shown to help people to cope, but so do the secular beliefs enshrined in axioms like "This too shall pass" and "Taht which doesn't kill me makes me stronger". The trick in that you have to believe them.
True Friendship
1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
2. At least 15 people in this world that love you in some way.
3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don’t like you.
5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
6. You mean the world to someone.
7. You are special and unique.
8. Someone that you don’t even know exists loves you.
9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take another look.
11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
So….
If you are a loving friend, send this to everyone, including the One that sent it to you. If you get it back, then they really do love you.
And always remember…when life hands you Lemons, ask for Tequila and salt
And call me over!!!
Good friends are like stars…..You don’t always see them, But you know they are always there.
“Whenever God Closes One Door He Always Opens Anther, Even Though Sometimes It’s Hell in the Hallway”
I would rather have one rose and a kind word from a friend while I’m here than a whole truck load when I’m gone.
The miracle of friendship dwells within the heart.
